A few notes from theluckycorner.com on Marvin Trin/Strin:
- Maltin and Bann list Trin for the cast list in "For Pete's Sake". The kid they thought was Trin was actually named Edmund Corthell, who was dressed to look like Trin's 'Bubbles' character from "Hi-Neighbor!".
- Maltin and Bann list Trin for the cast list in "The First Round-Up". The kid they thought was Trin was actually named Billy Wolfstone, who was also dressed to look like Trin's 'Bubbles' character from "Hi-Neighbor!". Interestingly enough, Maltin and Bann eventually learned of Wolfstone's involvement in "The First Round-Up", and added his name to the cast list for the second edition of their book. However they failed to remove Trin's name from the cast list. Ironically, the cutting continuity for this film refers to Wolfstone's character as 'Marvin'.
- Robert Demoss still isn't sure if the kid listed by Maltin and Bann as Marvin Trin for the films "Our Gang Follies of 1936" and "Pay as You Exit" are actually Trin. However, the kid who appears in both films is most definately the same kid.
- Maltin and Bann list Trin for the cast list of "The Pigskin Palooka". This kid is actually Joe Straunch Jr., Spanky McFarland's stand-in, and 'Tubby' in "Fightin' Fools".Mtw12055 02:01, August 14, 2010 (UTC)
