I don't think Delmar is Alfalfa's roommate; Delmar leaves through the open window in Alfalfa's room with his (Delmar's) football uniform, apparently to take back to his own room. If Alfalfa does have a roommate, it could be the cadet (Rex Downing) taking his photograph. Besides, the impression is that Delmar has a much higher rank than Alfalfa and wouldn't be sharing a room.
