Sing Joy in Derby Day
Bio[]
Sing Joy is one of the more peripheral Rascals to hang around Farina and Joe Cobb. He rides a go-cart pulled by a goat in the gang's race in Derby Day. He and Ernie Morrison run a laundry service together (called "Sunshine Sammy Sing Joy Inc.") in the gang's barbershop in Big Business. He also shines shoes with the aid of a machine for the gang's shoe shine shop to raise money for their 4th Ave. Athalatick Club in Every Man For Himself, and appears to be unhappy with his duties. He also helps out with the gang's baby show in Cradle Robbers, and their train in The Sun Down Limited, among other duties. Most of the time, he's just following the other kids around Greenpoint and sharing in their adventures.
Sing Joy was played by George "Sonny Boy" Warde, not to be confused with George "Freckles" Warde.
