Patrick "Pat" Melrose

Patrick "Pat" Melrose is a very early Rascal, helping the gang to attract customers to the general store run by Mary Jane's mother and helping to sabotage the competition. He first appears wearing a Little Lord Fauntleroy costume, but Mickey helps him to switch clothes with Ernie. He is a deceptively good fighter, defeating the entire gang single-handedly when they attack him, apparently for stealing Mary Jane away from Jimmy, but after the trade of clothes, Mary Jane walks away with the now better dressed Jimmy.
A non-original title card refers to him as "Patrick Melrose, patrician, model boy and apple of his mother's eye."
Pat was played by John Hatton.
