Mabel (Mike) on the lookout for fires

Mabel was one of the first Rascals alongside Booker T. Bacon. She is known for carrying a Krazy Kat Doll.
Mabel lived in the same neighborhood as Booker T. Bacon and Roosie, and when she wanted to join the Goat Alley Fire Department, they renamed her "Mike" because it sounded tougher. Roosie's brother, Richard Smith, stuck her up on the roof as a sentry to look for fires for them to put out, and when she saw steam coming out of a window from a tea kettle, she woke the gang and went with them to put out the fire. Eventually, Richard realized their fire engine was spraying moonshine, and when a police officer came to investigate, Mabel and all of the others fled the scene.
Mabel (Mike) was played by Betsy Ann Hisle. The child actress also appeared in a small uncredited role with Jackie Condon, Joe Cobb, Mickey Daniels, and Richard Daniels Sr. in the 1924 Harold Lloyd film Girl Shy.
