The Short[]

Plot: Mary Ann, Beezer, and Wheezer's mother has passed on, and while their dad works as a night watchman, Mary Ann stays home to take care of her brothers. Not only do the two keep her busy, but they keep Joe Cobb living next door up all night. At one point, Wheezer and Beezer eat so much that their stomachs swell in size. Mary Ann mixes soap flakes with baking powder to fix them up, but they start coughing up bubbles. They also open a fire hydrant, dousing everyone in sight. The youngsters are waiting for their mother to return from heaven, and she seemingly does when her twin sister arrives to take care of them. Mary Ann and Wheezer are sure she's their real mother come back to them, and she lets them keep thinkng that.
