History: Formerly Leon Ramone, Leon Janney was already a successful child actor by the age of thirteen when he appeared on Bear Shooters for Our Gang. Only starring in one Our Gang short did not affect his career. Considered too old for the series, he went on to become a prominent and prolific New York-based actor on stage, television and radio, his voice used in several radio commercials. He passed away in 1980.
