Judge L. A. French is an adjutant and official at the Greenpoint Courthouse. After Mickey Daniels and the gang are caught stealing fruit from a local merchant, it's arranged that Mickey should by adopted and raised right by his Aunt Kate. Judge French signs the papers to make it so, but the situation doesn't last and Mickey is reunited with his Uncle Pat.
Judge French was named for production manager L.A. French, the father of writer-director Lloyd French.
