The Jinni of the Lamp is actually the Arabian-styled stage magician and illusionist of a traveling vaudeville sideshow along with a female assistant, strong man and pet chimp. His real name unknown, he laments the fact that his mature audience has become complacent to his act and that he will only ever be appreciated by children. Overhearing Dickie Moore and Stymie Beard talking about their magic lamp, the magician appears to them to pose as a jinni and scare off Toughey Haines.
The Jinni was played by actor Philip Sleeman.
