Jack (McHugh) is the leader of a gang of tough kids Mrs. Kennedy's kicked out of her play for causing mischief. He and his pals throw eggs and pies at the actors onstage, and eventually cause a pie fight in the auditorium.
Jack was played by Jack McHugh.
