Bio[]
Hollywood is a town in Southern California incorporated along with Greenpoint and other surrounding towns into Los Angeles, the county seat of Los Angeles County. It is also the seat of the movie and radio industry in the time period of the Rascals' youth; television would not become popular until a few years after the end of their adventures. Their favorite movies seem to be cowboy, detective and pirate movies. In fact, several movie production companies are based in Greenpoint, such as West Coast Studios and Mammoth Studios. Numerous actors and actresses reside and work in the area. Since 1922, the Rascals have seen several movies and serials at the local Lincoln Theatre.
