Hiram and Ma Jenks

Hiram Jenks is the constable of the small community of Jenksville where his wife keeps and runs a small bakery. When Spanky, Alfalfa, Porky and Buckwheat end up in town after running away from home, Hiram treats them like vagrants and puts them to work as prisoners at a rock pile to pay for the treats they con from his wife's bakery. The whole time, Jenks is planning to take them back home, but the boys escape his custody and head home on their own.
Hiram never refers to his wife by name, other than "Ma." Ma Jenks calls her husband both "Hiram" and "Pa."
Hiram Jenks was played by Dick Rush and Ma Jenks by May Wallace.
