Grandma Tilbury

Grandma Tilbury is a wealthy Greenpoint retiree assisted by a butler named Hobson and a small staff of servants. Like her peer, J. William McAllister, before her, she becomes enchanted by the Rascals after Spanky's toy airplane flies in through her window and shatters a vase. She has the gang work off the supposedly expensive piece (but actually very inexpensive, 25 cents instead of the 75 cents she claims) by putting them to work in the garden with a resulting bond of friendship occurring. She teaches Alfalfa how to sing, and Spanky teachs her how to shatter her medicine bottles with a slingshot.
Grandma Tilbury was played by actress Zeffie Tilbury.
