The Short

Plot: The gang wants to play baseball, but they are missing Ernie, Jack, Squealer (Jackie) and Mickey who are all stuck doing chores at home. It's up to Squeaky to round everyone up. Mickey is able to get a goat to take over his chores while Jack gets a hobo to do his. Joe helps Ernie and Farina get all the animals in their pen and takes a moment to "ride" an escaped turkey back to Ernie’s house. The game finally gets started and Farina is the umpire, at one point pulling a razor on Ernie for arguing balls and strikes. After a while, they’re chased off by the owner of the vacant lot where they want to play. They head to a house where a couple is staying with Jack and Jackie's little sister, Imogene, but a doctor suspects one of the couple’s maids has a contagious fever and quarantines the gang to the house as he tries to get a diagnosis. Expecting to be cooped up for a week, the gang makes a shambles out of the once elegant home. After a few hours, the doctor returns and reveals the maid is not contagious after all, resulting in the Rascals quickly getting ejected from the house, straight into the hands of their angry parents.
