History: George Robert "Georgie" Nokes was a child actor. In 1947, he was hired by producer Hal Roach to appear in Curley, a revival of the Our Gang comedies. Nokes appeared in many other films, including It's a Wonderful Life and Song of the South. His last role was as "Georgie Colton" in Mayfair Productions' Father series. He passed on May 22, 1986 in Riverside, California of a heart attack.
