History: Georgie Jean LaRue appeared as a Rascal as a singer in two musical Our Gang shorts. She began her career supporting Jan Garber's orchestra as a singer and dancer. An employee from the Hal Roach Studio spotted Georgie, and soon had her hired for a role in Reunion In Rhythm. Her film career ended after having a small part in Our Gang Follies Of 1938. In 1990, her adult life was spent in Lake Tahoe. Her second husband was Ken Lane, co-composer of Everybody Loves Somebody.
