- "Home Front Commandos" was the final Our Gang short in production at the time of the cancellation of the series. No other information is known about it.
- It is unknown if this was gonna be the series finale or not.
- It is also unknown if Buckwheat, Mickey, Froggy and Janet would've appeared in this short or not. However, Buckwheat most likely would've made his last appearance in Dancing Romeo as William Thomas would've been too old for the role and the last remaining Rascals would've just been Mickey, Froggy and Janet with Big Shot Jones possibly replacing him. Sadly, William Laughlin was struck and killed while riding his bike in 1948, four years after the series had ended in 1944. By this point, the last remaining Rascals would have been adolescent, considered too old for their roles.
