The Short[]

Plot: Farina has been riding the rails with Pete The Pup. When he catches up with the gang, they abandon their chores and responsibilities to go with him to California. Along the way, the kids let loose bees which Farina has released drilling into the boxcars for food and the kids flee the train, getting lost in the middle of nowhere. They find an old house to take over, but soon get scared being by themselves. Pete starts a gramophone record that contains a long string of spooky sounds. Harry Spear lands in flour and everyone thinks he's a ghost. Farina's hat lands on a frog that moves it around scaring him and the others. When the sheriff investigates, he finds the kids and takes them home. Farina, however, heads for another train car, this one full of cadavers and skeletons bound for a medical school.
