Dick (Young?) is the stoic boyfriend of local Greenpoint heiress Mary Wade, whose father sponsors the Happy Home Orphanage. When Mary discovers a magic lamp, she wishes them back to childhood to spend the day with the kids from Happy Home Orphanage. Dick hesitantly goes along with her, still smoking his cigar and feuding with Leonard Kibrick along the way. When they discover the orphanage is run like a jail, Mary and Spanky McFarland help Dick to escape, dropping him from a window on the second floor. Using the lamp to regain adulthood, Dick brings Mr. Wade back to the orphanage to punish Mr. and Mrs. Crutch running the place.
Dick was played as an adult by actor Joe Young and as a kid by George Brasno.
