History: David Delmar Watson was a member of a early Hollywood family. His father was special effects artist Coy Watson Sr., and he lived near Mack Sennett's Studios in the modern area of Los Angeles known as Echo Park. Almost all of his siblings were child actors, including Bobs Watson who Delmar followed in appearing in Our Gang. Delmar only appeared in one Our Gang short during the MGM years, but Maltin and Bann erroneously list him for several others. His family was honored as "The First Family Of Hollywood" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
After his acting career, Delmar went on to become a news photographer. He shot several of the photos of the later Our Gang Reunions. Sadly, he passed away of prostrate cancer in 2008 at the age of 82.
