The Short[]
Plot: Mickey Gubitosi does not want to attend the upcoming Greenpoint Fathers And Sons Day Picnic since his father is gone. Mickey's mother, Mary Baker, is a widow running a local coffee shop next door to the gas station owned by Bill Henry. The gang asks Mr. Henry if he could be Mickey's dad for the day, and he agrees, with the two having a great time together, even getting an award from Spanky's Dad, but it turns out that Bill has known Mickey's mother the whole time. He's been going into her coffee shop for years for the coffee, and when the day is done, he gets the nerve to ask her to marry him - which he's been wanting to do for three years.
