The Short[]
Plot: The gang stages a military salute on stage to be broadcast over the radio. The show features songs and a sketch between Mickey and Froggy who changes costumes with an obvious camera cut behind a curtain. The show also includes a series of celebrity impressions highlighted by Buckwheat doing his impression of Eddie "Rochester" Anderson and culminating with a flag-waving finale by the Rascals in front of footage of marching troops.
Quotes:
- None
Notes/Trivia:
- Rascal Dorothy "Jackie" Horner visited Eleanor Powell's home to learn how to dance like her. Likewise, William Thomas Jr. was invited to meet Eddie "Rochester" Anderson to imitate him as well.
- This short recycles footage filmed for Ye Olde Minstrels.
- This short breaks through the "fourth wall" with the Rascals breaking character and continuity (and common sense) to stir support in the United States Military.
